Best Places to ride ATVs: South Carolina Edition




40 minutes north of Columbia up US 77in Winnsboro, SC lies Carolina Adventure World. They have over 100 miles of specialized tracks on over 2,600 acres of land. They have oval tracks, mud bogs and a rock crawl. This is a versatile place to ride with something for everyone. They have on site storage units, a welcome center with gear and hot food, and rentable cabins and yurts.



River Neck Acres ATV Park located in Florence South Carolina. There is over 11000 acres 50 miles from Myrtle Beach. They have cabinet rentals and bath houses. Riverneck is Built to allow ATVs, side by sides and golf carts.



Manchester has 3 trials with that loop through the pine forests. These sand and dirt trails have steep climbs for skilled riders. It is recommended to have 125 cc or higher to ride on the slippery sands.



50 miles inland from Myrtle Beach Battery Park has 50 miles of various tracks. They offer ATV rentals and tours. Battery Park has on-site camping with RV hookups.



Enoree is located directly between Greenville and Columbia off route 26. Emoree has various loops for ATVs side by sides and Jeeps. These dirt trails take you through Sumter National Forest. The trials are narrow so caution is suggested. The trails will close due to bad weather so it is best to call ahead before heading out.



Another spot located in Sumter Forest Cedar Springs has 12 miles of all purpose off road trail. Cedar Springs is a moderately difficult trail through a mixture of pine and hardwoods. This trail is multipurpose so watch out for hikers. Like the other trails on public lands it can being shut down due to inclement weather so make sure to check before arriving.
